In March, 95 % of the Danish Parliament agreed on a new ambitious energy agreement.

According to the agreement, 50 % of the electricity consumption will be supplied by wind power in 2020. The agreement also ensures investor security and industry competiveness to be held high for years to come.

"I am very happy with the agreement as wind power plays a key role in the transition of the energy system in the coming years," says Jan Hylleberg, CEO, the Danish Wind Industry Association.
